I think the animation is good but the story lacks

I legitimately looked at the title and thumbnail and thought I was high. I’ve never heard of this movie and honestly, I wish I went the rest of my life not knowing

I remember watching Higurashi when i was younger, and the only scene that genuinely bothered me was the fingernail scene

I can't explain it but the animation looks so dull? The city looks lifeless, the people plain and undetailed. It's giving Cocomelon. Yet Enchanto was brimming and over the top with textures and detailing, but this is so flat is hurts

When I was younger, my family had A LOT of VHS tapes. I can't remember exactly what movie, but before the movie began, all of these trailers would be played. I distinctly remember seeing a quick trailer of the Miramax version of The Thief and the Cobbler, and for YEARS, I couldn't get those little scenes out of my head because the optical illusions and the red smoke really struck me. Then, about a year ago, I finally saw The Thief and the Cobbler on UA-cam. Richard Williams will forever be my #1 favorite animator in history. May he rest in peace.

I disagree that the Antz characters look the same, maybe the color palette makes them run together but I feel like their strengths are in their facial designs and their body types. Named characters like General Mandible, Weaver, and Hopper have distinct faces and silhouettes from their bodies that make them recognizable at a glance, and I feel like the argument you're making would probably apply the best to Z and Bala, who are a bit difficult to tell apart sometimes.

The opening premise of the film reminds me of Shakespeare's "Tempest". However, there is one major difference: there is no love story, no girl getting the man of her dreams in the last reel. Little girls for generations have been fascinated by glamorous characters from Snow White to Rapunzel marrying the handsome prince. Apparently, to woke Disney being a violent revolutionary is more important than love.

There are a loooooooot of inaccuracies in this video, but the biggest one is that Disney's Aladdin didn't rip-off anything. The story of Aladdin has been around for centuries.

Hands down, my least favourite argument for why stuff like those Baby Burlesks exist is "Well, in those days, they didn't have a problem with it." It comes across as "You can't blame your grandparents for their views, they grew up in a different time." I understand the general public thought it was cute. Look at art in the Victorian era, photos of naked children were seen as symbolic of innocence and purity. And for some, I'm sure they were, but for a lot more, I'm sure it was for something else. I just feel the general public was either naive or didn't want to say anything. I'm sure a lot of them knew they weren't okay, but we all know how the internet can dogpile on someone. So, I'm sure it was an Emperor's New Clothes situation where everyone could see the problem but didn't want to look bad so they didn't say anything. Especially when you know how much abuse these children endured in the industry then and now. [no hate to you or your video, I quite enjoyed it] I just feel it's a cop-out to go "Well, they were from a different time" It explains cultural norms, but it doesn't excuse them. The opposite is also true, judging a society on modern values. Just because someone from the golden age of cinema loved these Baby Burlesks does not automatically mean they are into... you know... Because some people did think they were adorable, "Look at these toddlers pretending to be grown up." I just hope the reality of child stars becomes more public. It's a topic that's always fascinated me, and with things like Quiet on Set coming out, I REALLY hope people wake up to how dangerous the industry can be.

The problem is movies nowadays just cater towards one side. Either adults or kids. That’s why kid shows and movies nowadays are completely unwatchable. Compared to kids movies in the early 2000s and 90s that the whole family could enjoy. For example, emperors new groove my favorite Disney movie ever. Movies like this had jokes and Whitt only adults would understand while still being great kids movies

People think fondly of this movie (in my humble observation), primarily because Foxy Loxy is such an adorable little mischief sausage, she singlehandedly makes people wish the film was salvageable. Pre-lobotomy of course. In every video I've ever seen that so much as mentions this film, there are always comments agreeing that she was better before and that what happened to her was horrific. ...Actually, One Little Slip by the Barenaked Ladies, and the cover of Stir It Up are good too.
